Law no. 16/2017 regarding secondment of the employees

Romania has amended its law on the posting of employees providing transnational services to adapt Romanian law to comply with the amended EU Directive on the posting of workers. The amended law, which came into effect 16 August, provides for additional rights for posted workers, in terms or remuneration and working conditions, and additional obligations for their employers, such as new administrative requirements. Both inbound and outbound postings will be impacted.
