Employment Act, 1968 (Part 10: Article 88A) (Annual Leave)
Annual leave eligibility and entitlement
Employees who are covered by the Employment Act and have worked for at least 3 months, are entitled to annual leave.
- One is entitled to paid annual leave if they have worked for the employer for at least 3 months.
- An employee can only apply for annual leave after working for 3 months.
Annual leave entitlement depends on how many years of service an employee has with their employer. The year of service begins from the day they start work with their employer.
