Working Hours Act in Austria

In Austria, an employee is not allowed to work for more than twelve hours per day and 60 hours per week, including overtime. Total working time may not exceed 48 hours per week based on a 17-week average. Nevertheless, there are many exceptions also included in the Working Hours Act.
