The Department of Labor in Peninsular Malaysia is responsible for the welfare of workers and the interests of employers as well as the implementation of national labor policies through the administration and enforcement of labor laws and effective promotional measures to create a committed and productive workforce. We hereby promise to provide efficient and fast, honest and trustworthy as well as sincere and friendly service to meet the needs of customers as per the following criteria: 1) Investigate and inform the investigation results of every complaint related to labor issues within 30 days from the date of the complaint. 2) Resolve labor case complaints through the Labor Court mechanism within 90 days from the date of filing. 3) Process license applications under the Private Employment Agencies Act 1981 within 14 working days. 4) Process public entertainment license applications under the Children and Young Persons (Employment) Act 1966 within 14 working days. 5) Issuing a worker's compensation assessment under the Workers' Compensation Act 1952 within 5 working days from the date the complete document is received. 6) Process and issue recommendations within 14 days from the date the complete documents for the employment application of foreign workers are received. 7) Provide advice and answer customer inquiries quickly, accurately and friendly. 8) Provide friendly service at the counter of each department customer.
