Employment Act, 1968 (Part 10: Article 88A) (Annual Leave)
Annual leave eligibility and entitlement Employees who are covered by the Employment Act and have worked for at least 3 months, are entitled to annual leave.
Eligibility
- One is entitled to paid annual leave if they have worked for the employer for at least 3 months.
- An employee can only apply for annual leave after working for 3 months.
Entitlement Annual leave entitlement depends on how many years of service an employee has with their employer. The year of service begins from the day they start work with their employer.
