Polish Labour Code (Art. 134: The right to a break at work)

If the employee’s working time in a 24-hour period amounts to at least 6 hours, the employee has the right to a break at work lasting at least 15 minutes; such break is counted into the working time. The employer is entitled to introduce one break at work which is not counted into the working 8 time, not longer than 60 minutes, for having a meal or settling private matters. The aforesaid break at work is introduced in a collective labour agreement or work regulations, or in an employment contract if the employer is not covered by a collective labour agreement or is not obliged to set out work regulations.
