Paternity Leave

Fathers are entitled to 14 days of paternity leave on the birth or adoption of a child(under the age of 7 years). The leave shall be taken within 6 weeks of birth or adoption of a child. The 6 week period for entering paternity leave will be extended by the time during which the newborn or mother is hospitalized for health reasons.

Pay – Fathers are entitled to 70% of their average earnings for the period of leave.
